Since graduating she has joined the A Team where she has become a Clinic Manager, Senior Physiotherapist and Pilates Coordinator. Dylan prides herself on getting athletes back to sport as quickly and safely as possible. Using her knowledge of the upper limb, Dylan continues to explore treatment options, combining traditional hand therapy and pilates.

Kara Pocervina is one of our lead Occupational Therapists, graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2007. Kara spent time in the United Kingdom working in a large military rehabilitation hospital with major trauma patients. Upon her return to Melbourne in 2013, Kara dedicated her career to treating the hand and upper limb. Kara is a passionate Western Bulldogs and currently works closely with their AFLW to create an optimal rehabilitation program for their elbow, wrist and hand therapy.

Sam is a has completed a Bachelor of Human Movement and Exercise Science at Victoria University earning membership to the Golden Key Society. His passion for the hand and upper limb came was sparked early on, growing up supporting Basketball, AFL & Cricket, where he saw a variety of these injuries. Along his professional journey, Sam has become skilled at assessing and diagnosis, splinting, post-operative care, exercise prescription and management of hand & upper limb conditions.

Sadie is passionate about helping patients return to their pre-injury level. Sadie believes her passion for hand therapy initially sparked from her interest in the anatomy and biomechanics of the upper limb practiced at University. This passion further grew during her final placement with Action Rehab where she was supporting patients in reaching their goals and seeing the direct impact that hand therapy can have on someone’s life. Sadie particularly enjoys staying up to date with the latest in hand therapy research, engaging in her own projects and developing tailored rehabilitation programs for her patients.
We follow a thorough consultation process with all patients to ensure we understand your individual needs. Your first visit will involve plenty of conversation, because we know that in order to get well again, first you need to understand your condition and its implications.
All treatments are tailored to your requirements. This could involve creating a splint, or braces to support and protect your hands, or performing soft tissue work. Whatever your injury requires, rest assured you will receive appropriate and carefully considered solutions.

Hand therapists are occupational therapists or physiotherapists who specialise in the management of hand and upper limb injuries.
